My Testimony and Experience
I was saved at 12 years of age and surrendered my life to missions in 1997, my senior year of Bible college. Upon graduating in May 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and associate’s degree as an Administrative Assistant, I became actively involved in various ministries in my church for about 9 years until I felt the Lord leading me to serve Him in the Ivory Coast, West Africa. The Lord allowed me to serve for a year assisting the ministry of Hope Harbor Orphanage. During that time a Civil War broke out and it became unsafe for us to remain in the country. Under the direction of my pastor at that time, I came back to the states and the Lord allowed me once again to be involved in several ministries in my church. In 2013 I the Pridgen family, missionaries to Kampala, Uganda, approached me in the fall of 2013 and asked me to pray about teaching in their school, doing discipleship programs, teaching a Bible club, and teaching in the college. After godly counsel and much prayer, I believe it is God’s will that I return to Africa. I am excited to see how the Lord will use me to reach the Ugandan people for the cause of Christ.
